Thee Goat Rodeo crew was in normal form tonight. Others facing the same complex challenges would declare this rare form, but we’ve come to expect this type of conduct from this group. To add some sanity to the crew, Roby Combs, the track manager form Fairgrounds Speedway in Shelby, NC joins to the show to talk about this year’s racing schedule at the famed short track. You may remember the track re-opened last April (2012) with the Vintage Championship Series. A venue rich in racing history, the Fairgrounds Speedway is a one-of-a-kind first class dirt racing facility with covered grand stands, great food, and the cleanest restrooms we’ve seen.
